Courses Overview
Math Kangaroo’s Mission:
To help students love math nationwide.
Math Kangaroo’s Vision:
That all students may achieve their fullest potential and be inspired to discover new knowledge that will shape their lives and the future.
Personal Comments on Math Kangaroo:
This competition is very problem-solving oriented, focusing more on the skills to solve problems rather than the math used to do so. It is a great way to learn very transferable skills and also get a taste for using the mathematics that they have learned in school.
Lack of quality math competition education at this age:
Prestigious classes only start teaching students of middle school or high school age, however, their best programs are reserved for only the best students. This class will start the student with a solid foundation in problem solving and math competition experience, which is what prestigious programs are looking for.
In-person:
Remote learning has proven to be much harder for many students, especially for something as hands on and interactive as math. In-person learning provides students the benefit to get immediate feedback and the chance to work with other students.
