2021 Lego Robotics Camp

LEGO ® WeDo Robotics/Programming (yr 7+, half day)
** Session II is a repetition of Session I. So Students only need to take either Session which is 2 weeks long.
Half day 1pm - 5:30 pm
Fee: $300 per week
This class uses LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 to build and program robots. The lessons will incorporate technological concepts, engineering principles, and programming. No prior knowledge is required to participate.
During the second week, students will have the freedom to design and build their very own robot using LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Their critical thinking, innovation, cooperation, and communication skills will be tested and improved.
- Session I: 7/12 - 7/23 Monday through Friday, Afternoon half day 1 pm - 5:30 pm
- Session II: 8/9 - 8/20, Monday through Friday, Afternoon half day 1pm - 5:30 pm

Quadruple Discounts:
1. Group buying discount: $50 off for each student in the group if each student in the group enrolled in our summer camp and the group has one old student and one or more new students. (An old student is defined as a student who enrolled in any of Koo Chinese Academy class or summer camp before. A new student is defined as a student who has never enrolled in any Koo Chinese Academy's class or summer camp before. students in the group can not be siblings. ) 2. Early Bird Discount: 5% off on all paid tuition made by April 18 if enrolled and paid by April 18th. 3. Multi-week Discount: 5% off on payment made by May 16 if enrolled and paid for 5 weeks or more (combine all camps) by May 16. 4. Sibling discount: 5% to all children from the same family other than the first child (on the lesser tuition). |
A typical day for the Robotics Camp
Half Day Camp (1 pm - 5:30 pm) 1 - 1:30 pm: Arrival 1:30 - 2:30 pm: Class I 2:30 - 2:45 pm : Snack and Recess 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm: Class II 3:45 pm - 4 pm: Engineering Journal 4 - 4:30 pm: Cleanup We offer extended hour 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm, for Free! |
