Beginner Class
For 4th and 5th graders
  • Saturday Class: Saturday,  3:10 - 4:10 pm

Curriculum:
        Students will concentrate on the fundamentals of grammar and sentence composition which are the foundation of English Writing.

        Students will also learn how to develop the five-paragraph essay structure (including introduction and conclusion), thesis formulation, and the use of textual evidence in support of ideas.
Intermediate Class
For 6th to 8th graders
  • Saturday Class: Saturday,  2 - 3 pm
Dates: Fall Semester (Sept 2021 - Jan 2022)  
      on Saturdays in year 2021, 9/11, 18, 25, 10/2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 11/13, 20, 12/4, 11, 18 in year 2022, 1/8, 15, 22, 29

Class Size: 8 - 10 students

Curriculum:
        Students will concentrate on the more advanced aspects of the writing process. These include learning how to develop the five-paragraph essay structure (including introduction and conclusion), thesis formulation, and the use of textual evidence in support of ideas.

         Students will also look at different types of writing, including descriptive, argumentative, and biographical. Students will work with assorted materials in the classroom.

1. Group Buy (团购）Discount: two or more students to form a group, one is an old student of Koo Chinese Academy, the others are all new students, none of them are sibling. Once they enroll in any of our 2021-2022 school year program within 48 hours, each one in the group will get $50 discount.
