Minecraft Programming
Age： 7 - 13 year's old 
Date：week 3 (8/4 - 8) & week 4 (8/11 - 15)
Time： 8:30 am - 1 pm

Course Overview
Students will be introduced to kid-friendly coding platform such as MakeCode to create automated builds, control characters with code, and design interactive worlds. The course will teach the computer programming fundamentals such as sequence, loop, conditional, event handling, etc. The course is designed to teach coding, creativity and problem-solving skills.   
Minecraft Immersive Engineering Mod
Age： 7 - 13 year's old 
Date：week 3 (8/4 - 8) & week 4 (8/11 - 15)
Time： 1 pm - 5:30 pm
Tuition: $350/week (can enroll for both weeks or only one week)

Course Overview

This course will introduce to Minecraft Immersive Engineering through engaging, hands-on activities, real-world analogies, and creative projects. The lessons are structured to be fun, interactive, and gradually increasing in complexity.
 
The course will introduce engineering, explore modded blocks in Creative Mode, build a small house with engineering-themed decorations, generate power through Water Wheel & Windmill, transmit power to machine and store power in an LV Capacitor, build a giant excavator that automatically digs for ores. It will be a lot of fun and eye-opening for the students while learning real world engineering in Minecraft Immersive Engineering Mod.   ​
Game Design with ScratchJr. 
ScratchJr  With ScratchJr, young children (ages 5-7) can program their own interactive stories and games. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer.

Course Overview 
We will focuse on letting youngsters create their own interactive stories and games, serving as a delightful gateway to the vast universe of coding. Beyond just being an engaging activity, we will teach students with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, all while fostering their innate creativity.
Game Design with Scratch Programming

Scratch was invented at MIT Media Lab. It is a visual object-oriented programming language which is a full-featured and the most popular programming language used by children. Children around the world use Scratch programming language to write digital cards, complicated games, animation, etc. ​

Course Overview 
Students will learn Computer Programming language fundamentals such as sequence, loops, conditionals, variables, events. Students will also learn data types, Boolean expressions, arithmetic, operators, etc. And, to learn how to develop animation and sound effect in projects, to develop cyclic games and Non cyclic games and to public games for the world to play.   

Coding with Python

Python is the most popular programming language now. It is easy to read and easy to learn. It has wide applicability too. Python can be used in developing website, as well as developing projects in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, etc.   ​
Age： 9+ year's old

Course Overview 
Students will learn all the Python programming language syntax  such as sequence, loops, conditionals, modules, functions,  and data types such as dictionaries, sequence types, Boolean expression, Indexing and Arithmetic Operators. Students will also learn the debugging skills. Over the course, students will work on projects like Caesar Cipher,  Alien Adventure, Online shopper, Turtle graphics, etc. 

Students will learn methods and sequence types, exceptions, file reading and writing,  Data visualization using matplotlib module. Students will also learn the basics of the Object Oriented Programming in Python with object instantiation, definition of attributes, methods in class, etc. Students will also learn Command Prompt including Python Shell.
