Dates and Time:
- Tuesdays, 10/15, 22, 29, 11/5,12,19, 26, 12/3,10,17 in 2024 and 1/7,14 in 2025.
5:10 - 6:10 PM: Beginner Class
6:15 - 7:15 PM: Intermediate Class
Classes for two different levels
1. Beginner Class
Pre-requisite: None.
2. Intermediate Class
Pre-requisite: students who have finished our Chess Beginner's class or USCF rating 200 - 400
Class Overview:
Students are expected to already know how the pieces move and know several basic checkmates. In class students will continue to learn new techniques and progress to more difficult checkmates and tactical patterns. We will learn an opening repertoire to use for the White and Black pieces to start out the game. We will also continue to learn about chess notation and tournament chess rules, and working towards improving tournament play.
Teacher:
Both classes will be taught by coach Master Max from Grand Master Mackenzie Molner's Chess Academy. Coach Max also taught our 2024 chess summer camp. He is very articulate, engaging, and kids friendly. He is well respected and liked by all his students.

Tuition and Fee:
$360 （for a total of 12-week class, 1 hour class per week)
There is a $25 enrollment fee for New Student Registration Only.
