Scratch Programming Courses
Scratch was invented at MIT Media Lab. It is a visual object-oriented programming language which is a full-featured and the most popular programming language used by children. Children around the world use Scratch programming language to write digital cards, complicated games, animation, etc.

Scratch Programming Language Beginner's Camp
Age： 7+岁 Date：week 2 and week 3 (6/28 - 7/2 and 7/5 - 7/9) Time： 1 pm - 5:30 pm Teacher: Mr. Abimanyu Ananthu College Junior in Computer Science Major in Rutgers University. Course Overview Students will learn Computer Programming language fundamentals such as sequence, loops, conditionals, variables, events. Students will also learn data types, Boolean expressions, arithmetic, operators, etc. And, to learn how to develop animation and sound effect in projects, to develop cyclic games and Non cyclic games and to public games for the world to play. |
Scratch Programming Language Intermediate Camp
Age： 7+岁 Date：week 6 and week 7 (7/26 - 30 and 8/2 - 8/6) Time： 1 pm - 5:30 pm Teacher: Mr. Abimanyu Ananthu College Junior in Computer Science Major in Rutgers University. Course Overview Students will use the computer language fundamentals and Scratch specific tools to develop more sophisticated projects such as Chatbot, Pattern generator, Pong game, snowball fight, Archery, racing games, clone wars, etc. Students will design and build their own computer games under the teacher's guidance. |

Python Programming Language Beginner's Camp
Age： 9+岁 Date：week 2 and week 3 (6/28 - 7/2 and 7/5 - 7/9) Time：1 pm - 5:30 pm Teacher: Dorothy Zhang College Sophomore in Computer Science Major in NYU Course Overview Students will learn all the Python programming language syntax such as sequence, loops, conditionals, modules, functions, and data types such as dictionaries, sequence types, Boolean expression, Indexing and Arithmetic Operators. Students will also learn the debugging skills. Over the course, students will work on projects like Caesar Cipher, Alien Adventure, Online shopper, Turtle graphics, etc. |
Python Programming Language Intermediate Camp
Age： 9+岁 Date：week 6 and week 7 (7/26 - 30 and 8/2 - 8/6) Time： 1 pm - 5:30 pm Teacher: Dorothy Zhang College Sophomore in Computer Science Major in NYU Course Overview Students will learn methods and sequence types, exceptions, file reading and writing, Data visualization using matplotlib module. Students will also be introduced to more advanced topics such as API (Application Programming Interface) and JSON (Javascript Object Notation) which are everywhere in the modern web and mobile development. Students will also learn the basics of the Object Oriented Programming in Python with object instantiation, definition of attributes, methods in class, etc. Students will also learn Command Prompt including Python Shell. Over the course, students will work on projects like Random Joke Generator, Pie Pie Chart, Stylizing graphs, Check guesses, Password checker, etc. |
Web Development with HTML, CSS, Javascript Courses
Web Development We all use web-based apps to shop, communicate, play games, and so much more! This course teaches the building blocks to program and design interactive websites and to develop customized web-based apps.The 2 levels of our course cover all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript needed to create interactive apps and dynamic websites.

Quadruple Discounts:
1. Group buying discount: $50 off for each student in the group if each student in the group enrolled in our summer camp and the group has one old student and one or more new students. (An old student is defined as a student who enrolled in any of Koo Chinese Academy class or summer camp before. A new student is defined as a student who has never enrolled in any Koo Chinese Academy's class or summer camp before. students in the group can not be siblings. )
2. Early Bird Discount: 5% off on all paid tuition if enrolled and paid by April 18th.
3. Multi-week Discount: 5% off if enrolled for 5 weeks or more of Koo Chinese Academy camp and paid in full by May 16th.
4. Sibling discount: 5% to all kids from the same family other than the first one on a lessor tuition.
