Partnered with one of the top chess academy in the nation - the Dean of Chess Academy, we have just completed a very successful Spring Session of chess classes at our Basking Ridge Campus with over 50 students.
We are now ready for the enrollment of the 10-week long Fall session from October 2018 to January 2019. This time, we will open the chess classes to all the kids in the local Basking Ridge community.
This Fall Session starts in the first week of October on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the afternoon, and will end before the end of December for Thursdays and Fridays classes and first week of January of next year for Saturday classes for the total of 10 weeks. Below are the class schedule (Day, Time, Level) - All Classes here are held in our Basking Ridge Campus!
Thursday 4 pm - 5 pm: Beginner
Thursday 5 pm - 6 pm: Intermediate (USCF < 700)
Friday 4 pm - 5 pm: Beginner
Friday 5 pm - 6 pm: Intermediate (USCF < 700)
Saturday 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm: Beginner
Saturday 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm: Intermediate (USCF < 700)
The classes will be held on the following dates:
Thursday Classes: 10/4, 11,18,25, 11/1,29, 12/6,13,20, 1/10
Friday Classes: 10/5,12,19,26, 11/2,30, 12/7,14,21, 1/11
Saturday Classes: 10/6,13,20,27, 11/3,17, 12/1, 8, 15, 1/12
The missed classes must be made up during the session in which they were missed. Sessions will NOT be pro-rated for classes missed in the previous session.
Friday's classes will be taught by Mr. Dean Ippolito - an International Master who has been regarded as one of the top coaches in the US for nearly two decades. By age 25, he had already coached three of the five youngest national champions in US history. Overall, Dean has trained more national and international champions in a shorter time frame than anyone in US history.
Thursday and Saturday's classes will be taught by Mr. Mackenzie Molner - a top US Grand Master with many national titles to his name, including being the 2013 US Open Co-Champion. He has coached many state and national championship teams and players, even coaching the United States World Youth Team and a student to a World Championship.
Dean of Chess Academy was formed in 2002 by International Master of Chess Dean Ippolito and has since grown exponentially. The academy's core staff includes notable instructors who hold many international and national titles. In addition to their playing ability, their instructors have many years of teaching experience. These accomplishments and talents combined make the staff at Dean of Chess unsurpassed and one of the finest in the country. The academy currently coaches dozens of nationally ranked scholastic players!
